Close technical co-operation between Rega and Earth Save Products has resulted in the ideal integration of Regavent Heat Recovery Ventilation with the highly efficient ESP Ecocent hot water heating and storage system. Using a motorised three way diverter valve the extract air flow which normally flows through the MVHR unit is automatically directed to the Ecocent unit when water heating is required.
The addition of a further three way valve adds a further level of controlled efficiency. After passing through the Ecocent the stale extract air, at a temperature of 8℃ , is normally exhausted to outside but if the incoming fresh air is at a temperature less the 8℃ the exhaust is automatically directed through the heat exchanger to extract the maximum amount of remaining heat. In summer the low temperature exhaust air may directed through the heat exchanger to cool the incoming fresh air on those few hot days when cooling is beneficial.
